Robert has been in the real estate and mortgage profession for two decades both as a
Managing Partner at Southern States Mortgage and as an agent with the Julie Wright Realty
Group. His experience in finance and real estate has been most beneficial when structuring an
offer for a purchase or pricing for a sale.

Robert has given back to the community and church in many different capacities. He has served
as Oxford’s City Council member, Chair of Global Mission Committee for The Episcopal Diocese
of North Carolina, Director of the Kiwanis Club, and Vice Consul for the República de Costa Rica,
where he had a business. He also helped organize building teams to Costa Rica, Panama and
Nicaragua where they build classrooms, medical building, and kitchens for schools and
communities through the Rotary and Episcopal Church. He is currently on the Advisory
Committee for the Boys and Girls Club of North Central North Carolina, which supports children
in Granville, Vance, Franklin, Warren, and Halifax counties.
